God answers prayer, you need to be alert to understand it
We pray god, we blame god, we
curse god; all depends on the answer we want to get and that also in the way we
want to get it. But believe me, she answers every query forwarded to her, may not
be in the way we want to get it, but the way she deems it fit for us. She never
prop us to break the process and rule to achieve success and chase any
shortcut; but she guide and walks us through the route which is correct.
A week back, I had gone to Maa
Durga (Mother Goddess, The Supreme Power ) Temple at “Uchhaith Sthan” in
Madhubani to seek her guidance for my future and answer for my failures. This
temple is very famous among devotees and people from all walk of life and far
flung places visit it for the Maa’s blessing. Discovery Channel has also made
and aired a programme on this temple.
When I reached the temple, it was
almost the time to clean and make it ready for the evening prayer. I bought
flowers, coconut and embroidered stoal (chunni) to offer prayer and worship
Maa. I entered the temple, reached in front of Maa’s statue. Finding nobody to guide me, I tried to break
the coconut in front of statue. Coconut did not break in one hit, so, I left
that coconut, flowers and embroidered stoal in front of Maa and came out. But something
was pulling me back, so I stood at the gate for some time. Soon, volunteers of
the temple came to clean it. They saw the unbroken coconut and that stoal kept in
front of the statue and after seeing me standing at the gate they asked me
whether I have left it there. After getting the response in affirmative, they
asked me why I have not broken the coconut. I told them that I tried but could
not succeed. They again propped me to try and this time, in just one hit, I
broke the coconut and was able to offer the coconut water to Maa Durga.
Immediately, something struck my mind, an idea, the answer.
Maa answered my questions. I was
never giving my hundred percent to whatever I was doing. I was leaving all the
effort mid-way and not finishing the work to get the result. So, half-baked
effort was only yielding half baked result.
Lesson learnt: There is no easy route to achieve the success. Until you
give hundred percent to your work and work till finishing point, you won’t get
the result you expect. Go and give that extra hit to break the coconut and get
the water out of it offer Maa Durga.
Rightly said Mukul..thanks for sharing this wonderful experience
