5 Solid Reason To Be Religios Person To Be Successful Entrepreneur

Religion is one of the most binding and unifying factor across globe. People become religious for various reasons; for peace, to escape the harsh reality of this world, to get their wish fulfilled which they otherwise feel can’t be achieved by their effort and so on and so forth. But to be a successful entrepreneur or a better manager, one should be religious person as well. There are five solid reason listed below for being so:
1) Religion teaches you to be ‘disciplined’ : I am for sure don’t know details about my religion, so knowing the details of other religion is out of question for me. But having seen everybody practicing their respective religions, one thing I can say that they follow it in disciplined manner. Order may be different, but discipline occupies a prominent place in every religion. Similarly, to make any business successful, one needs to be disciplined. Without discipline, one will surely squatter away the time and resources.
2) Religion teaches you ‘respect’ others : Every religion teaches to respect others. This is very necessary element to ensure better teamwork. If you don’t respect other’s point of view, you are bound step on toe of your co-worker and spoil the entire business plan.
3) Religion teaches you to be ‘compassionate’ : Compassion is one of the foundation stone of every religion and so is the case with business. Though business is often derided for not being compassionate for human values and environmental issues, but this is what has led us to many industrial conflicts and bigger issue like global warming. Had the basic tenet of religion been made part of business philosophy, we may not have seen the kind of disasters we have seen.
4) Religion teaches ‘focus’ : Every religion teaches its followers to focus on the supreme being to achieve success, salvation. And can any business person think going to work without having focus on the target; definitely not.
5) Religion teaches ‘commitment’ : To be near to the god, you need to be committed to the road prescribed by learned people of the respective religions and believe me, it is not easy. One has to be committed to the route. Similarly, one need to be committed to the cause of making any business succeed. Many people jump into business and many fails. If you are not committed to what you are doing, then you are bound to take the easy way and that is ‘going out’.
So, be a religious person to be a successful entrepreneur or a successful manager.
